Homesteaders Schedule

The Homesteader’s is a long-standing organization of residents in or near Duluth Township. It meets at noon on the first Wednesday each month at the Town Hall. There is a light lunch (provided by members who sign up to volunteer something), plus an interesting program and a brief meeting. Dues are $2.00/year (many put $1 in the basket at lunch to help with coffee and paper expenses). There are over 100 members.
Many current members are long-time residents who have contributed to our community over many years. The group sponsors an annual community party in August (called the “Come on Home” party), they are a booster of our community school and contribute to various community causes. It is a friendly place to meet and discuss issues with some of your neighbors and get to know the Township. Homesteader’s is open to everyone, regardless of age. Come, try it out!

The next meetings are:
May 7th,
Wednesday, 12:30pm, Town Hall, Gardening tips by Lone Cooke, Master Gardner.
June 4th, Wednesday, 12:30pm, Town Hall. Program to be announced.
July 2nd, Wednesday, 12:30pm, Town Hall. Annual Picnic and Bingo.

Everyone is welcome. For information call Helen Hendrickson at 525-4154.
